Water & Relaxation
Our various wellness areas

"Good boys make no noise!" Making time for an extended recuperation period is one of the most important aspects of taking a sauna or a steam bath. The quiet room is the perfect place to relax, recuperate, take stock and day-dream. Why not emulate the Montafon folks of old, and take time out on the heated relaxation bench?

The Kneipp stream
Stimulate the reflex zones of your feet! Walk barefoot over the rounded pebbles through the "Aquarena Kneipp stream", which is fed by the purest Gargellen water from our own mountain spring.
The open-air Kneipp therapy circuit
Based on principles which are still acknowledged by modern medicine to be beneficial to health, Sebastian Kneipp devised this method of treatment over 100 years ago.
In spite of its early origins, the Kneipp philosophy of lifestyle and healing is now more popular than ever, and has been proven to be an efficient means of preventing and healing many of the illnesses associated with the modern era.
Best known, and constituting the basis of Kneipp therapy, are the various applications utilising hot and cold water. These harden the body and increase its natural resistance. Short applications with cold water have the effect of enhancing the circulation and stimulating bodily functions.

Water - the source of life
Who says that the mountains are just for walkers? Try lying on our sunbathing lawn, listening to the babbling brook and watching dragonflies darting over the pond! Or indulge in an enjoyable game of outdoor chess: our leisure programme offers all this and more. Budding acrobats can show off on our garden trampoline, and for the less daring we recommend a lively game of table tennis. After all these sporting activities you will need to relax: sit on one of our inviting garden benches, enjoy a cold beer or an ice cream, stretch your legs and enjoy the breathtaking view!
