We adore children – with so much imagination, curiosity and boundless energy. That’s why we love to see their eyes light up. Here our little guests can simply enjoy being children: dive into the ball pool and romp around in the castle; frolic through the grass and roll down mountain meadows. They can scramble up the climbing wall and immerse themselves in the game zone. Because let’s be honest: even children sometimes need a little break – from their parents!
Still more adventures for the whole family lie right on our doorstep: via ferrata, easy hikes, mountain biking complexes and emerald-green mountain lakes – challenging ski slopes, winter hiking trails and toboggan runs. Freedom often promotes progress.
Gargellen – the mountain village for families

Families visiting Gargellen will find excitement, fun and adventure. In our mountain village everything is nearby and everyone knows one another, so little explorers can run around freely and safely. It’s just like in the good old days, when children simply went off and did their own thing.

Boredom? No way! Trampolines, table tennis, billiards, darts, pirate ship, castle, ball pit, game consoles – and, of course, good old-fashioned board games. By the way, as childhood climbing enthusiasts, we built the climbing wall ourselves. Even today we still occasionally have a go on the football table. To be honest, people who grow up without getting old get a lot more out of life!

From our own experience we know that when the children are happy, the parents are happy too. It’s as simple as that. That’s why we offer a children’s menu that changes daily, is healthy and tasty and offers much more than just boring old chicken nuggets!
WINTER FUN AND SUMMER ENJOYMENT
BergePLUS in summer – Fancy an adventure with Robin Hood? Want to visit a real dairy and learn how Montafon mountain cheese is made? Or how about exploring the exciting land of smugglers? Free of charge for our guests, Montafon BergePLUS offers an outdoor programme for kids and teenagers which is playful, exciting and pretty magical.
Skiing and tobogganing – In the ski kindergarten (up to 4 years on request), even the very youngest children can slide about on the snow. In the “fledglings” course (from 4 years) the first ski turns are practised, and these are quickly perfected in the subsequent “piste bashers” course (from 5 years). With over 40 ski and snowboard instructors, the Gargellen ski school offers professional all-round care, including delicious meals to boot. An exciting end-of-week ski race, a fun park and a children’s ski area all guarantee howls of jubilation in the snow. For those who prefer tobogganing, the Montafon offers numerous runs, some even illuminated. Toboggan hire is available on site or directly from our hotel.
FUN & GAMES UNLIMITED
If you can hear the sound of children’s laughter, you must be right in the middle of our game zone. It’s a colourful place for children to play, romp and make new friends. Conquer the pirate ship and the castle, dive into the ball pit, challenge yourself to a game of table football, billiards, table tennis or giant chess, and then do a somersault on the trampoline. Computer buffs will enjoy the chance to ave a flutter. And if it’s raining outside, how about watching a movie in the in-house cinema?
