Our cuisine is seasoned with dedication and spiced by real enjoyment, prepared with consideration and respect for nature’s bounty. In touch with our homeland, we honour Austrian tradition while drawing gastronomic inspiration from other parts of the world. Breakfast buffet: Start the day with a smile
Fresh crusty bread, steaming coffee and aromatic tea specialities, home made Bircher muesli, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon sourced from local farmers, fruity jam and refreshing juice – in Sporthotel Bachmann the day kicks off to a hearty start – sweet or savoury; because every morning is as individual as our guests’ tastes. Some prefer roast potatoes, others sugary Muntafuner Brösl. Hardened mountaineers build up their strength with muesli and fruit from the health food corner. Even early morning grumps can’t help smiling when they see the choices offered on our breakfast buffet.

6-course dinner: Enjoy time together
Nothing brings people together as effectively as good food, and evenings are undoubtedly the best time to enjoy quality time together. In our restaurant we serve six courses with a choice of three different mains. Austrian delicacies such as tender pasture-raised roast beef and onions, served with creamy spinach; exotic salmon on crisp wok vegetables; homemade pasta with a sun-ripened tomato salsa – we like to serve Austrian cuisine seasoned with international flair. And there is always the brilliant buffet, offering freshly harvested salads and a delicious hot soup pot. As a sweet bedtime treat, there are mouth-watering desserts and local cheese specialities. And because we know that our little guests often have rather unusual tastes in food, we serve a daily children’s menu that will keep them as happy as Larry.

Kolja Braunger – We have more in common with our head chef than just a love of good taste. As a youngster he trained in our hotel, before setting off, full of curiosity, to explore the world of gastronomy. After several years at Do&Co he returned here, bringing with him his talent for good old home favourites made extra special by an added cosmopolitan sparkle.
STYLISH, LAID BACK AND ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS
How about a glass of “Zirberol” in our cosy bar, or perhaps a juicy outdoor steak at the barbecue evening? Maybe you prefer spicy Tempura prawns with sun dried tomatoes in our light airy restaurant? And why not round off the meal with a glass of rowan schnapps as a digestif in the atmospheric Montafoner parlour?
Our hotel has some wonderful areas in which to wind down and enjoy life; cosy corners in which to relax, discover new cuisine and spend time together. Life is good.
